Rick McNeil, Founder & President

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Rick is a third generation HVAC professional. He launched 4 Seasons in 1976, building it up from a single customer. Transferring to Victoria in 1991, Rick has continued to develop and expand his company’s industry contribution, resulting in a number of certifications include TECA, WETT and recently, a 2011 Business of the Year award from the Victoria BBB. Today Rick runs the management team at 4 Seasons.

An avid golfer, lover of dogs and recent granddad, Rick encourages his customers to ask for him directly if they have any questions or concerns.

Elaine Lakeman, Finance Manager

Elaine is a woman of many talents, having worked as an actress in TV movies and host of charity events such as the talent show for Haitian relief and street children in the Dominican Republic. Her love of animals and humanitarian activities is the catalyst behind many of our company’s community causes including our program sponsorship at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital. Elaine manages all the financial operations of the company.

Jon Hurley, General Manager

A UK transplant, Jon started at 4 Seasons as a gas technician assistant and has worked his way up to his general manager position in just 5 years. Today he is a TECA-qualified HVAC professional, and the person you’ll must likely talk to on the phone when you have questions about a furnace, fireplace, heat pump or HRV. He loves to teach and help people with designing and engineering their new heating or cooling systems. A former investment banker, Jon has his commercial helicopter license, and if you ask, he might even take you for a ride.

Trevor, Sales & Service, Stoves & Fireplaces

Trevor has been with 4 Seasons for more than 5 years, having started out as a wood technician assistant and chimney sweeper, rising up the ranks to senior technician. His knowledge and experience with fireplaces and stoves is unmatched. One of our most personable staff members, Trevor is a certified WETT inspector and installer. A home building and renovation expert, Trevor will answer all of your questions with honesty and candor.
